GRANTHAM RESERVE

Public BBQ

Grantham Reserve features a 600-metre concrete walking track circling sports ovals dedicated to rugby, baseball, and future cricket facilities. Exercise equipment stations along the track create an outdoor gym experience, complemented by two tennis courts and playground areas. The reserve hosts rugby matches with BBQ events creating a community atmosphere during games. While well-maintained with water fountains and toilets available, the lack of shaded areas can make sunny days challenging. Originally a lagoon in the 1960s, the transformed space now serves multiple sporting codes, though magpies near the playground require caution during nesting season.
